My first ever art exhibition.
So happy to be able to exhibit in this warm, chique and cozy restaurant. The four paintings that have never left my room and only saw my face are now the first ones being put up for the chance of being perceived. For the first time my paintings are in another room without me while people are having a good time having dinner and drinks. I think these paintings show a a certain part of me, how I am, a certain vibe. And I love that. I think the four together fit the word Silje, my name. I love that for the first time my name is combined with my art and a little story about me is written too. I hope these paintings make people feel comfortable, warm, romantic, elegant, sweet and happy.

I think the paintings are a good mixture it's a bit of all worlds. The Cherry Blossom Girls are a bit fine, elegant, romantic, soft and sweet but they also have something wild from the green around it, like a jungle while the flowers are more fine. Aqua Flower is feminin, elegant, romantic, but not fragile due to the structure and thick canvas. And Explosion is more bold, more aggressive, but kind, not naive.

It's not about if they sell, it's about my first moment of letting my art being perceived other than on instagram or my website. And all that the first time in a beautiful unique restaurant.
